Chatsoba.com Forum Closed, Please move to www.scivillage.net
Originally Chatsoba.com has just acted as a personal site for myself. It moved from just being a website to a forum, the forum got populated during a rather questionable legitimacy phase which is when I pulled the plug, mainly from concerns of losing access to a dedicated server over the forums sub-culture clash.
I eventually relaunched the site as yet again a forum, but waited until the *heat* had died down a little.
It never took off the same way, mainly because the site doesn't offer anything different from any other forum, it doesn't offer applications, it doesn't offer extra services, so it got overlooked by pretty much everyone online. It's a shame in a way because if it had been noticed and got even a little interest, it would of aided in further development of the site. Instead it pains me in a way to make the decision to wind down the site, It's been a good run with the domain, I've had some interesting experiences with people through it, spent many hours pushing templates around or building things from scratch, but I know a Slovak term for "Chat Room" (Which was actually coincidental) would make more sense actually attempting to be what it is, rather than well.... what ever I dreamt up.

While this might be the last death thralls of Chatsoba as a forum, this doesn't mean the complete death of projects I am running, right now I have:
Scivillage intends to be far greater than chatsoba was, mainly because it's pretty much named for the topic, Sci(ence )Village. I intend to try and push the development of this site further because I have found it very difficult while volunteering for another website, to not be able to aid in the development of an already established community. As a volunteer my hands have been bound. I'm hoping that if I can get the attention of the right people then scivillage can be developed further than just being a forum.
For this to happen it requires people to join it in it's infancy, to become apart of the movement to evolve it. So if you've got a bit of time and don't mind filling the void of empty forums with some discussion, sign up and aid getting it rolling. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
